Dr. Sundram is a serial entrepreneur who has previously launched three companies that have raised collectively over 800 million dollars and created more than 6 billion dollars in enterprise value by tackling problems in the small group health insurance space (Verikai - 6 million acquired for 170 million, Predilytics - 15 million acquired by Welltok for 80 million), and medical device arena (Auris Surgical Robotics - 800 Million and the first medical device unicorn acquired by J&J for 6 billion) while attracting some of the biggest names in healthcare. He now hopes to transform all of premium creation and underwriting in the largest cause of individual bankruptcy in the US - group healthcare. 

Phil is a long-time healthcare operator and consultant who has worked for both payers and providers.  He brings early career experience in fintech, and recent experience with novel payment solutions and analytics. Most recently, Phil has worked in executive search, focused on the intersections between payers and providers, and healthcare and technology. He previously served as a senior vice president at MedAssets, which provided performance improvement solutions in revenue cycle and supply chain management. Earlier, Phil worked as a managing director with publicly-traded consulting firms, which included co-founding a value-based care and healthcare analytics practice that grew to include 30 professionals. He started his healthcare career at Northwestern Medicine.
